Room was extremely small with a malfunctioning TV remote, missing battery cover. Heating issue made the space uncomfortable, and the bathroom situation was worse—shower cubicle lacked a curtain, turning it into a slippery wet room. Noise levels were unacceptable, with thin walls allowing me to hear everything from the neighbouring rooms. Bed was uncomfortable with lumpy cushions, and the overall smell from the bathroom forced me to hold my breath. No trash bin in room added to the discomfort.

Had a great stay at Citadel in Calais. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the Eurotunnel and surrounded by lively restaurants. I faced a few hiccups. The bathroom lacked proper amenities like soap, and I noticed no towels provided in the room. I didn't have hot water during my morning shower, which was a letdown. Despite these issues, it was a decent spot for a night stay.
